DART Holiday Routes

Where do DART holidays go?

DART holidays travel along the Kennet and Avon canal through Wiltshire and Berkshire.  You can choose to join us for a short break of 3 nights, or take a cruise for 5 or 7 nights. Guests are allocated berths on one of two specially-adapted riverboats: Hannah (12 berth) and Diana (10 berth). See our Holidays page for details and to check availability go to Book Today.

DART holiday routes

DART organises holidays in partnership with The Bruce Trust. Your trip will start and finish at the Bruce Trust bases at Great Bedwyn Wharf, near Marlborough, in Wiltshire. You’ll cruise downstream toward Newbury and Reading or up river toward Devizes. There will be glimpses of the wildlife living along the banks and glorious views of the surrounding countryside beyond.

A boat just for you?

As in previous years, DART is offering holidays on a per-boat basis for groups that need or would like a boat just for themselves. If you are unsure about your requirements, please get in touch to discuss them with us. Limited pricing information is given in this table.

We aim to include shore visits to points of interest along the way during your trip. The actual places we visit will vary, depending on the length of the holiday. You might have a shopping excursion to spend some of your pocket money or visit a theatre or pub. It is sometimes possible to include places you request, as long as you mention this at the time of booking.

Holiday dates

Each holiday is slightly different, so please see our Book Today page for dates and details.

Whichever itinerary you choose, your holiday will be packed with fun activities. You will be talking about it all year!
