| MARKETING DEVELOPMENT |
Since 2004 DART has been expanding each year. In the early days we were able to offer about 150 passenger days. in 2010 we have 712 passenger days. This expansion has only been possible by developing the market and contacting new users each year. We are in need of one or more volunteers to help with developing the market. Some of the tasks involved are:
- Talking with existing clients about their needs
- Looking for new ways to approach the market
- Attending conferences and other gatherings where there may be opportunities. Recent examples are:
- Carers forums
- AINA annual conference
- Working with suppliers to see what can be done to improve facilities
- Giving talks and presentations
- Maintaining the marketing database
- Production of newsletters
