The Disabled Afloat Riverboats Trust are always in need of volunteers to help organise and run our trips. In particular we need people to train for the following roles:

Role

Duties

TRIP MANAGERS

responsible for organisation and smooth running of our trips. Two people are definitely required for training in 2008

SKIPPERS

responsible for the safe operation of the craft that we use and supervise those on board as they steer the boat and operate locks and bridges

CATERERS

responsible for ensuring that everyone gets fed.

CREW

help with the operation of the boat and are responsible for ensuring cleanliness

CABIN BOYS/GIRLS

are put to work helping in all areas in the hope and expectation that they might progress to a more responsible role

In Spring 2009 we are running an Art Show in Tewkesbury Abbey. For details of the help we will need for this click here.
