The Disabled Afloat Riverboats Trust (DART) provides holidays on specially equipped, wide beam canal boats for those with a range of disabilities. Carers, family and friends are welcome aboard. For most groups, the boats are crewed and operated by experienced volunteers. They also provide meals and support, to enable everyone to participate in life on board.
DART can arrange for you to hire a boat exclusively for your group, if that suits your needs better.
DART works closely with another charity, The Bruce Trust. We use their boats for our holidays and they carry out our administration at their Hungerford headquarters.
DART and the Bruce Trust are members of the National Community Boats Association.
