DISABLED AFLOAT RIVERBOATS TRUST

This trip aboard the River Thames Boat Project's 'Richmond Venturer' will travel from Kingston-upon-Thames to Windsor and back. The places to be visited depend on the availability of moorings at the time but may include Hampton Court Palace, Walton, Runnymede, Shepperton, Staines, Laleham and Windsor. Last year we visited Windsor Palace but there are many alternative attractions. 'Richmond Venturer' is a spacious Dutch barge 85ft in length by 16ft beam with a large deck that is fully accessible. The interior is also spacious with wide bunks of which only one is at high level. Note however that some of the accomodation is on mattresses on the saloon floor.

The price is £400.00 per person which includes all meals. A deposit of £130.00 is required when booking.

Transport to Kingston-upon-Thames. DART have always done what they can to help those people without transport to get to the starting point of the trip. This may be by asking people who live close to one another to share transport or by organising a mini-bus from the Cheltenham/Gloucester area. If we organise a mini-bus this will involve an additional charge for those who use it. For those that need it long term parking is available but it is some distance from the boat mooring.
