Grand Union Canal, Saturday 19th July to Saturday 26th July 2008This trip will be led by Herbie Renfield with catering by Philippa Shaw and Sheila Smith. This trip aboard Reach Out Project's boats 'Close Shave' and 'Sheldrake II' will travel from Nash Mills near Kings Langley in Hertfordshire and will take you to London and back. The places to be visited depend on the interests of those joining the trip but may include Cassiobury Park in Watford, Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Regents Park, London Zoo, Camden Lock market, Pirate Castle in Camden, Camley Street Nature Reserve and St. Pancras Station. The price is £310.00 which includes all meals. A deposit of £105.00 per person is required when booking. Transport to Nash Mills. DART have always done what they can to help those people without transport to get to the starting point of the trip. This may be by asking people who live close to one another to share transport or by organising a mini-bus from the Cheltenham/Gloucester area. If we organise a mini-bus this will involve an additional charge for those who use it. Long term parking is available free of charge at the Reach Out Project's base.
